Installing Dcad on other than C drive

I would like to move Datacad to my E drive to free up space on my C drive. I copied it to E drive, then temporarily moved Dcad off of my C drive. When I tried to initialize Dcad on my E drive, it could not find some files that it needed to initialize. If I knew which files these are I could put them back on my C drive so that Dcad on E drive could initialize, or is there a better way to install Dcad on the E drive?

P.S. When I downloaded Dcad 14 the program did not prompt me to ask where I wanted to put Dcad (which drive).

Thanks in advance for any help.
Ron

Hi Ron,

You will need to reinstall DataCAD to the location you want it to be. The Registry has to reflect the actual location - no Windows program can be just moved, because that is the way it is designed.

Neil: I downloaded it from the dacad web site, so I don't have a CD or DVD with the program on it. Do I have to download it from the Dcad web site again, or can I do it another way?
