I have created symbols in the drawing by clipping and pasting as symbols. Works great except if I mirror the detail or move it the symbols by area they do not move. Is there a way to set the insertion point so that they move with everything else?
Couple of things that might be of help.
Symbols only move when either their insertion point is included in a selection or when a symbols entities are crossed used Area or Fence and Crossing is enabled for the selection.
Also when copying to the clipboard the entities that will make up the symbol, make sure S2 Insert Point is turned on in the Add To Set menu so you will be prompted to pick an insertion point. If you don't, Datacad will set the symbol's insertion point at the drawings Absolute Zero point.
