Seem to be able to hide all but the dimension line. Is the only option to make it a non printing color

I want to just show the dim text and prefix or suffix if used

I think that is the only solution.

That's what I do. Sometimes I will also set the line type to dotted and adjust the spacing if I need to in order to get the effect I want.
