I have no idea what caused this and have never in all my years (20+) of using Datacad had it happen before. I have tried various files and removed/reinstalled the software, to no avail. Help!
Are you running Windows 10? Can you switch to a different printer, and if you can will it crash with the new one too?

Try using Ctrl+Shift+C to clear the printer settings before going to the printer menu.

Have you tried using the Repair tool to check the file doesn't have any corrupted or dubious entities that cause the print/plot to crash?
