Just like some advice what is the easy way to do a step ftg on a slope lot I have been going to an elevation and manually drawing the footings and fdn to match the slope of the lot. Just wonder if anyone knows of a way to do the step ftgs in the plan view and when you go to an elevation view the step ftgs and fdn come up automatically with the rest of the house structure

How are you drawing them in plan view.
You should be able to draw the segments, and assign different z-base/heights to each segment so they view correctly in 3d or elevation views.
You could draw the segments all at once, then using Move - Z, and by area move the sections down in groups.
