"Move-to-Layer" crashes file automatically closes the file

Hi, I'm running DataCAD16 and... "move to layer" crashes/ automatically closes my file (unsaved). Happing in all my files consistently when using F-keys and/or mouse clicks. No other procedure triggers this behavior.

Is there a user fix, maybe clear some temp file or re-set or possibly re-install DataCad? Or I need to purchase upgrade(s)? The current version works fine for my
needs except for this problem. Does anyone have any advice?

System: :D
Windows 10
48gb Ram
Intel Xeon x2-2.4ghz processors

THank you

Have you installed the most recent update? There was an issue that this sounds like with a Windows 10 update and v16 and newer had updates released to fix the problem.

Josh, thanks, I followed the advice and Installing the update fixed the issue.

I could have easily checked for the 16 update, I didn't imaging that 16 was still maintained. V20 soon looks like needed well see.

Thanks Josh & Datacad!

I'm running v15 (windows 10) for the same reason - it works fine for my needs, however it also is crashing after using the the move-to command. The most recent update is not fixing. Is there anything else I can do?
Please advise.
Thanks
John

No, v. 15 will not work with Windows 10. You need to upgrade to v16 or newer to use Windows 10.
