Needing to install X3 LT onto my win 10 Laptop

I am only a light user these days but having problems loading X3LT onto my new laptop. Is it possible to download directly to my new PC and use my existing licence to install?

I'm guessing that my old faithful X3 won't run in win 10 !?

I think that Windows 10 won't work with older versions of DataCAD - I don't know how far back they work, but at some point, they stop being supported.

Only Datacad 16 and newer with the latest Datacad patches will work on Windows 10. Older versions will crash when invoking certain menus and core commands like Move.

Having no luck installing X3 I dug out my copy of 12 & hey presto everything is working fine, and saving files in DCAD12 compatible mode can now use on the laptop
