PDF with embedded URL

I have inserted url's/hyperlinks eg. www.monier.com for fabricants/product web sites in my drawing.
What is the process for embedding the url's in the pdfs printed from the aec file?

I have tried the DCAD batch pdf printer but have had no luck.

It seems this is a problem with EPS driver but Chrome, MS Word can do embeded hyperlinks.

Thanks

It seems that no universal pdf print driver can do this.

The pdf printer needs to interface with the software to include the hyperlinks.
This is done in software such as Revit, Autocad, Chrome, etc. but requires the software developer to program the interaction.
see menu dialogue Autocad below.

So one for Datacad or perhaps a macro developer ?

Some of the universal pdf printer drivers can add links to an allready created pdf file
eg PDF-XChange Viewer (free) Not a satisfactory work around.

Good point and a useful addition to the PDF output function. I'm not aware of the ability to add 'live links' to the output PDF's from within DataCAD at this point in time, though I'll mention it to the Beta team as there might be an opportunity to add it.

It seems in Revit a "invisible" layer with the hyperlinks eg. http://grace.com, is added when printing with a pdf printer driver.

Thanks for the post and what other systems are implementing. I see revit 2023 will now have the ability to move print sheets up/down or apply a sort filter, something already implemented in the latest DataCAD 22. The new Batch Print Facility is a great addition and improvement and it would be another big step forward to add the ability to embed hyperlinks in PDF's, which appears quite common in other systems. It's also something that would get plenty of use, from links to relevant standards or product specs in CD drawing set, to OneDrive or Dropbox links for larger files (animations/hires images etc.) with presentations/DA's and so forth, as well as internal links on a drawing register to other drawing sheets or details etc. There's plenty of scope to improve the output drawing set and improve coordination and integration of all the relevant information that gets issued for a project. Hopefully it's not too onerous on the programming side to make its way into a future release.

I did a quick search on some earlier posts where I've asked for Hyperlinks in PDF's that can be issued to clients/contractors/consultants -
