Hi, I use Version 13. The default font colour in the PText dialogue box is dark grey - against a black background is very hard to see. Is there a way to alter the default PText dialogue box font colour?

open your default drawing and change it there. should work for future drawings.

I think that the background color of dialog boxes is set in Windows. I would look at Windows display settings? What version of Windows do you have?

Thanks Neil and Roger, I am using the latest version of Windows 10. I attach the dialogue box for your review. I had a look at the Windows settings but I can't see anything appropriate. I thought a change to the program code might be a place to alter a setting. Thanks Bob

Also, the MText is white font on black back ground whereas the PText font is a very pale grey - hard to see on the black.
The background of the dialogue boxes is the same as the drawing screen colour i.e. can change to white for example but I want a black drawing screen.
So it seems that font is changable for the M and P Texts somewhere - should be a script setting deep in the program somewhere.

In Windows Settings, try setting this. you can set a different color above in Windows Colors.

Tried the changes in windows settings - no luck. Not sure what I was supposed to do with <!-- ia0 -->2020-01-21_165431.png<!-- ia0 --> if anything.
I use HLV_TPX as my default font. I had a look at MText too and when I change that away from its default font to HLV_TPX, it is also very pale. All the 'HLVs' seem to have the same pale problem. Other fonts have good heavy contrast.
It seems to be related to the actual font. I could use another font but then there is a problem with extended characters.
