I have been using Datacad for quite a while but really only use the 2D capacity. For some reason I am currently having trouble adding in doors. I know I need to put the door in a 2 line wall and I have to either choose the layer the wall is on or select "any layer". I go to the Architect list and choose "Door". I am directed to choose the hinge side, which I do, but then I am not asked to select the strike side and the door does not get drawn. Can you suggest something I might try or that I am suddenly doing wrong.

Old walls or new 3d versions?
is layer locked?
are z base/height within the same area?
If old 2d, are they 2d walls? Identify and check the wall attribute, if I recall 2d walls were 57. Draw a new 2d wall to check what is should be.
