I am looking for a hardlock for DataCad 12. Mine has been kicked one too many times and the center two pins/contact points have broken off. I am semi retired but would like to keep my legal license of DataCad 12 functional. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm afraid you may not be able to find any after 10 years! You may want to consider upgrading to DC LT22 if you don't want to upgrade to the full DC 22. I'm sure if you contact Clay and Mark they can work something out for you on the upgrade.

Good luck!

I did contact them prior to posting here. The only thing I was offered was buy a new seat. I don't see DataCad lite as a option because I am just too used to multiscale plotting. I would be okay just using one of my DataCad 11 licenses, but you can't open up a drawing saved as DataCad 12 in 11. Yes you can save it as 11 in version 12, but you have to be in 12 to save it as 11. If I had known this day would come I would have bought 13 just for the softlock feature.

Maybe call Datacad and see if the v22 LT can perform the Save As v11 AEC function so you can use your v11 license?

Depending on how many files you need done I could save them down for you. PM me your phone number and we'll see what we can get set up.
