I am trying to insert a bitmap. I have the file in both jpg and tiff (converted from pdf) but when I go to insert it it doesn't insert on my drawing.

Are you able to insert any other BMP or JPG?

If not can you give detailed steps on how you are doing this?

Is the targeted layer locked?

Do you have display bitmaps toggled on?

May be try inserting the images at their lowest resolution/DPI settings first, then adjust their resolution higher until you reach the limit available?
