When answering technical support questions, it is helpful to know some basic information about your computer and your program. Click the Profile link at the top of this page to access your Forum Profile, then look for the Signature section. Here you can add the following information to help others answer your questions:

What version number is listed in the Help\About DataCAD screen:
What operating system do you have?
What type of processor?
How much RAM?

Mark,

The computer, DCAD version, and operating system info you suggest we add into our Profile for the BBS, might be best answered by having separate lines in each of our Profiles asking us to fill in the blanks or clicking on the right radio button for our individual system characteristics (or multiple systems), than we can probably do by just typing in those attributes somewhere in the text of our Profile.

Good suggestion, David. I haven't found a template in the message board software that supports this yet. I'll keep looking ...

Mark,

Consider speaking with Mark Thomas at www.theswamp.org. He runs a similar board to what is here and has been at it for some time. He's a really nice guy and might be willing to help with information.
