Inserting bitmaps

It's good that it's possible to insert bitmaps like jpg and bmp into Datacad drawings. Sometimes it would be useful to insert scanned old technical drawings (for example as jpg files) and then to draw with Datacad something on these drawings and then to print the result. The problem is that I don't know how to move the bitmap to the background and to keep it there and then to draw on the foreground. After the drawing is refreshed, the bitmaps jump always to the foreground and cover the drawing.

Hello:
This is controlled by layer order, and how they are refreshed. Go to:
Display/Layer Order/
If you are drawing on a different layer from where the bitmap is -- and you should be, then 'Last' would work. Or, put the bitmap layer at the beginning of the list (drag it in the Layer Manager, up to the top of the list) and use 'In Order'.
You also might have to hit the U key, which recalculates the Display List, where as the Escape key only refreshes the screen based on the DL.

If you insert the bmp or jpg first as Layer 1, then it wiil always remain behind the lines or other object created later.
It would be helpfull if the icon created for this purphase worked
