Hi there,
I have self xreffed a small apartment layout into my current file to provide a duplicated unit above a lower "original" ( on which I do all the design development) - with the idea that the self xref updates as you develop the original layout.
This works well but when I take a sectional cut through this assemblage ( original plus self-xref above) - the computer crashes.
Without the self Xref - there is no problem with sectional cut.
Is there any inherent problem with what Im trying to do.

Hello RC,

I can confirm that behavior as well. I've tried with two small 3D models, one mine and the other was the 3D_Deck.AEC file from "\DataCAD\Drawings" folder and happened the same crash, dark grey background.
