I recently had to replace my monitor due to my existing monitor quit working and have run into some problems. DataCAD seems to work, but some functions have ceased to work in the program. For instance the line function has ceaased. I can place any line type onto the screen and it looks like a solid line even when I print it out. However if I click the I (Identfy) on to the line it shows what it actually is. How do I change the program to read the monitor? I am running DCAD 11 under Windows 98.

I don't see how the monitor can be the problem, particularly as you appear to have a problem printing too.

It's amazing how you can occasionally by accident hit a button you never normally use. Check Display, F5 Linetype and make sure it is green.

You may also want to verify that the linetype spacing hasn't changed.
