I have the same computer setup as deliriousga (Dell laptop). On files that are heavily hatched I'm starting to get alot of these errors which kicks me out of the file.

Any ideas?

Is the hatch associative, or not? How much RAM in the machine?

Does the other machine also have 1GB of RAM? If so, can it open these same files? It doesn't feel like a hatch problem, per se, but it might be a hatch file problem?

I work off the laptop at all times. After getting that error several times on a file, I couldn't open it at all. I sent it into Mark who recovered it but never told me what the issue was... I need to follow up.

I have 2GB (love the Dell specials ) on mine and opened it, but the same problem. It won't open, but DataCAD stays open. The files are all XREFed into this file to put units together in a townhome building.

Specifically, doing an erase of entities containing the hatch generated the initial messages.
