Does anyone have or know where I could obtain a hatch pattern for cedar shingles where the bottom edge is flush, not staggered. I've got about four different patterns for shingle siding (thanks Josh), but all of them have that "ragged" bottom edge. I know that I could buy the hatch editing program, but considering this is the first time in two years I've needed to edit a pattern I thought I'd try the community approach first.

Cheers All!

We developed this one a while back. It has a little bit of staggering on the bottom edge, but it’s pretty subtle

Hello,

I thought there was a standard pattern for this? Maybe it came from Cheap Tricks? The one I am thinking of is called "Shingle6". (It's the lower one). The upper pattern is similar but adds the spaces between the shingles -- it is called "Shingle2" (and it uses a very different scale).

Thanks Neil, Brian and Josh for your replies. Either of the two hatches Neil posted is what I am looking for. They apparently are from Cheap Tricks as they are not contained in the standard installation of DataCad.

Correct me if I am mistaken, but there is no download site for cheap tricks; CD orders only?

Thanks for all of your help guys.

Another testament that you can spend thousands of dollars elsewhere on CADD software, but the DataCad community is priceless.
