Need to reinstall my 3D Power Tools from a 3.5" floopy disk.

Using DC9 on hard drive: E:\DataCad

Program lets me choose correct drive, but it auto puts in DCAD6.

I change it to DataCad ... but it says it cannot be found.

I tried the default DCAD6 ... but that could not be found either.

Appreciate some advice.

Hello Danna,

If you look at the contents of the floppy, try to find a folder with .DCX files in it, and just copy the contents of that folder to the (v11) Macros folder; or for v10 or older versions, put them in the DCX folder.

I think it is looking for the DCAD.exe file. Try using Notepad to create a file named DCAD.EXE in the directory you want to use. I don't believe the file has to contain anything, it just has to exist.

Tech support helped me out and emailed the macro's to me.
Placed in my DCX folder and working.

I have one that is not ( curveslab ) the file is showing in my DCX folder but when activated from the program .... "File Not Found"

Tried eshu@world.std.com ... but that is no longer valid.

Thanks

Danna
