symbol attributes are displaying the definition text instead
of the user input text. The symbol is a small section cut
with text relating what number the detail is.
When selecting the symbol to change the text,
it then corrects itself and displays the right data.

any ideas why this occurs?

Don't want to select every attributed symbol before plotting
in order to avoid not having section numbers shown

Are you exploding the symbol?

Doesn't sound like they are exploded if they are auto correcting them self when he selects tries to manually correct them, but I could be wrong. Are you running the latest version 11.08.01? Have you tried to regen your screen (not refresh - Esc.)? Is it only this symbol or or do you have other symbol attributes that are working correctly?

symbol is not exploded, and screen refresh does not correct it,
(neither "Esc" or "U")
it affects all the symbols that have attributes
not just one.

Is the attribute information being put in when the symbol is being put in or edited after the symbol is inserted.

I do know if you leave the attribute information blank when inserting a symbol, that it will display the default information instead of staying blank.
