Are there any problems that I should be aware of with using this command in v11?

I would be wary of any macro that works with the layers within a file (as I think DXF Prep does?), since the layer files -- and the whole drawing file has completely changed with v11.

You could just try it -- but do so in a copy of the file!

Are you actually making a DXF, or a DWG file? As I remember it, that macro used to check the layer names for being too long and illegal characters?

Thanks for the response. I was just curious about using it since an engineer using that other software was having problems reading our dwgs. We sent him DXF's instead and they worked fine.
