I stumbled across the ability to save a DataCAD file as an ESP file, among others.
My questions is this: Can those file types be saved to scale at specific paper sizes?
Best I could see was basically a screen shot...for a large building it had to be at 1/16" on screen to get a scaled image.
IMO, that stinks...I need specific scales on specific paper and resolution options.

I did this using Micrografx Designer. It wasn't ideal as it was compliled from plot files. Later versions could import PDF, thus allowing you to use linewidths. I guess Illustrator could do this too and there are probably other vector programmes of a similar ilk
