The Material box in Wall Type Manager/Display/Rendering Attributes requires a .ini file.
How do I convert my own .bmp textures to this format? Thanks.

Hello Ken,

The ".ini" file is actually the "Material" as it was named when was created.
So what you need is to create New Materials, adjusting the texture name, scale and finishings that you expect.
You will use the View/Rendering Settings dialog to do this job, and store them in the right places, where you can search for loading in the future.

Any material (after created) can be loaded to any single file. If you want it to be available to 'every' new drawing you should load 'that' material to your default file (as long as you have one).

You can also check up here, on an article by Mark Toce, for the new Rendering settings in DC 12 http://forum.datacad.com/viewtopic.php?t=5492

HTH,
Miguel
