A friend of mine, on DataCAD for years, not online, just called with a problem. He has lost the ability to snap to intersection. He is using 2d lines, has layer snap on and has lost the ability to snap to an intersection, whether using middle button or "n" key. Ideas? He has closed and reopened the file and DataCAD a couple of times. Still doesn't work. Any ideas? It was working earlier, does in other files also. Sessions was off.

Has he checked to make sure the Intersection Snap is still turned on? It is position F7 in the Object Snap Menu.

This is the only thing I can think of.

Problem solved. He made a copy, opened it, noticed something strange about the view, hit "ortho" and the image shifted a little and then he could snap properly. It was as though his mouse and his lines weren't really in the same place, even though they appeared together on screen.
