Just downloaded latest revision - Unable to save as dwg.
Good catch. It appears the "adinit.dat" file is missing from the installation. If you have DataCAD 11 (or LT 11), you can caopy "adinit.dat" from your program folder into the DataCAD 12 Test Drive program folder and it should correct the problem.
