My client is requesting an eliptical shaped staicase. Any ideas on the best way to approach this, or are there templates available for this. Thanks.

I always use a compound arc approximation for an ellipse. This makes it a bit easier, I think, for the guys in the field. How to create these are in the Architectural Graphic Standards. They work well, and nobody says, "hey, this isn't a true ellipse."
