What is the best way to convert a version 11 (aec file) to a dc5 file, so that I can pull it up on version 9 or 10.

Thanks;

I haven't had to do this but I believe that you have to export out of V11 to a DWG file, then import the DWG into V10. I'm not sure how the translation will be going into V9 as the DWG conversion library is fairly old.

Good luck!

Thee is no direct way of saving an AEC to DC5. You will need to export the AEC to DWG then import that into v9 or v10 to create the DC5.

You can use DWG R.14/R.2000 for V.9, but must be R.12 for previous DataCAD versions.
