Just an FYI the new update overwrote my mnu file. I really think the updates should edit this file and not replace it. We need to maintain our customization between updates.

It should not have done that. It is supposed to to retain your customized shortcuts. I'll make a note of this for our InstallShield guy (who is currently on holiday doing some fairly wet camping  ).

It does not seem to have overwritten mine. I still seem to have all of my custom short cuts. At least I still have all of the ones I have tested.

It overwrote mine as well. Luckily, I have made several backups of all of my customized files so no huge deal. But it is a little irritating and at first disconcerting.

Ours did not get over written here. Our installs are going to a custom path of "C:\My Documents\Datacad" FWIW.

I updated from V12.00.00 to V12.01.01.01 and I didn't get any of my custom files overwritten either.

I installed the update on my laptop and it did not overwrite the MNU file, but when I updated my office computer this morning it did overwrite it here.

I only had the problem when updating from V12.00.00 to V12.01.00.12, not when updating to V12.01.01.01. So whatever the problem was, maybe it was taken care of in the latest release.

I posted this after updating directly from the CD version of 12 (12.00.00) to the latest release posted Friday. I ddin't update til that evening. It did overwrite the MNU. Strange that it does it for some and not all. I installed v12 to C:\datacad 12 if that makes a difference.
