when we write a dwg from a file with multiple x-refs, the dwg doesn't display the x-ref. Instead, a placeholder shows the path. In order to get the x-refs into the dwg, we have to change the file names in the dwg folder.
Why is Dcad not saving the x-ref files with the correct names.
For example: the file (A1.0-Composite Plan) has the files (A2.0 & A2.1-Floor Plan - Building 1) and (A2.2-Floor Plan - Building 2) x-refed in. When we export to dwg, the (A1.0-Composit Plan) file is saved, but the x-ref files are saved as (A2.0 & A2.1) and (A2.2-Floor)
We have been using long file names with spaces for years, and are just now starting to get this problem. The only thing that we are doing differently, is using more go-to-views in a single drawing. Does this have any relevance?
Thanks,
Brian Lanier
