On some systems, successful installation of the new drivers is
dependent upon the order in which they are installed.

First, use Add\Remove Programs in the Control Panel to remove the
"hardlock device driver" from your system. Then, disconnect your
hardware key.

Next, go to https://www.datacad.com/update/update_hardlock.htm and
download both drivers on the page, saving them into a folder on your
hard drive. Unzip both files, then double click on HASPUserSetup.exe
first. Follow the on-screen instructions, making sure to check
"Install new drivers" when prompted, then complete the installation.
When it is finished, double click on hldrv32.exe to install the
hardlock driver. When that is finished, reboot Windows.

After Windows has finished loading (be sure to wait until all drivers
and background applications are finished loading) you can connect your
hardware key. If you have a USB key, wait until the red light appears
before opening DataCAD.
