HELP !!!

We are an Architectural practice based in the UK and used to hold around 15 seats in Datacad, but due to various reasons of lack of support and no impending updates we made the switch to Autocad about 5 years ago.

We need to open an old Datacad drawing, but can not get the software to load onto our PCs, we can only get trainer mode which is no use. All our machines are running Windows XP, can anyone help ? We still have all the original software and dongles, which have become mixed up over time, but even going through each one individually with each dongle we can not get a single seat to work.

Thanks

Do you have downloaded the latest dongle drivers?
I donĀ“t know DataCAD+ but Spirit 9.
There is a batch (Cbminst.bat) on CD.
If you want to install the dongle enter into the DOS box: cbminst -a.
-a installs the dongle to all lpt ports.
Then you need to reeboot.

Which kind of dongle is DataCAD+?

Spirit works with a serialized disk.
The stsys.dll only works with the right dongle.
You can copy the stsys.dll from disk to DataCAD+ root.
Is it the same with DataCAD+ ?
