Stretch by area problem

DataCAD12 latest version issue?
I had an instance when trying to stretch a symbol with a separate leader line, by area, that the bounding box didn't grab the entities. I tried to erase them by area and that didn't work. Erasing by entity worked. After exiting the drawing and getting back in, all was fine.
