We are using Windows Vista and have a KIP 3000 plotter. When attempting to plot a 24" x 36" drawing onto a 36" roll, the plotter itself requests to have a 24" roll installed instead. It should be able to just plot the drawing in landscape format using the 36" roll. If we try "redefining" the roll as a 24" roll just to get it to plot, but don't really change it to 24" paper, then the drawing plots rotated, in a portrait format, leaving blank gaps on both sides. We've already tried getting support from the KIP plotter technicians, but sinse we're using DataCAD, they could only take us to a certain point & the rest they said was coordination between DataCAD & Windows Vista.
