For some reason, when I "paste special" a "clipboard select"ion consisting of lines text and hatches, DataCad seizes up when I paste it into a new aec file (but not while making the selection) (the new file only has one layer). I tried saving the layer with the stuff I want to transfer and importing the layer. I tried saving what I wanted as a symbol, inserting it into the new file. All methods seized up DataCAD. And yet, the original file works fine. There was a bitmap in what I tried to transfer, but I also tried the clipboard select without including the bitmap, with the same result. Needless to say, this is frustrating and perplexing me. Any ideas?
