I just opened a file sent to me by a surveyor containing AecCivilBase contours. He stepped the file back to ACAD 2004 for me (I couldn't open v2008). I have no problem opening the file, but the contours are not visible in DataCAD 11. They show up as labeled magenta boxes in Volo View Express. Internet research tells me that the contours were created with an AutoCAD add-on. Is there a way to import these objects with DataCAD 11 from A2004? Does DataCAD 12 support the import of ObjectARX objects? What is the latest version of AutoCAD supported by DataCAD 12?
