O.K., I took the plunge and started using 11, got used to it better than I expected,
However
When I try to hatch it crashes.
I am using dual monitors with the tools on the second monitor, thought that might be the problem.
But
When I go back to a single monitor with all controls on one screen, I still crash when trying to hatch.
Never had this problem with 10.
Whatsup?
John
P.S.
Installed 11 on my laptop to check it out there and cant get the hardlock driver to work,"cant find file"
Went to the hardlock folder to install from ther and windows wont accept the driver????
I have been reluctant to use this forum, really like the dbug forum
but decided to give this on a shot, been over five minutes since I first posted and no reply yet, what samatter?
John
I know XP required newer drivers than what was on the CD. I don't know if that helps or not. I do know when SP2 came out there was some issues with the drivers.
Could you have updated the drivers previously on your desktop?

Have you updated v11 to the latest (v11.07.00)? And, I think SP2 is pretty safe these days -- MS will stop supporting SP1 at some point fairly soon, I think.
As for the crashing, hmmm, I don't think it is the dual monitors. V11 is very stable; if not quite as stable as v10. How are you doing the hatch -- are you avoiding using the old Polyline.DCX, I hope?
When I scrolled up the pattern buttons and passed to angles I thought it was locking up, however the scale was too tight and was taking a long time to load the preview window, same thing happened with "dots"
I have downloaded the new hardlock driver and will let you know if that helps with my notebook/11 problem.
