Clipping an Image

I am trying to clip an Image so that it will fit on our border, but every time I use clipcube (normal and xref) the image is streched and resized to fit the clipcube box I created. I don't want to clip the image with an image modigying software, whereas the image is an orthophoto and I DON'T want to have to mes with the scaling. Thank you to all that can help.
