I guess it must be able to be done I just cant find out how to move SPB fills back so the other entities stand out on the screen. I dont want to turn hatching fills of though.

I new Id seen it somewhere. The Icon at the top of the screen does this. Appologies everyone.

It's also in the Move menu...

I fiddled with move forward and backward on the same layer but I was still having difficulty with SPB-Fills obliterating the line work underneath and which has to be on a different layer. So I tried Display/Layerorder/first and bingo!.
