New user here. On a 3d contoured site plan I'm trying to lay in an existing drive. The 3d cursor doesn't pop up for 3d inclines or slabs or such, only for 3d lines which can't have thickness. The slabs or inclines I can't get to snap to points on the 3d contours as the lines will. Any tips for doing this without plane snapping to the existing contour planes as defined by the contour lines for every little section of the drive? (This is primarily for rendering in o2c so lines don't work, though I can't even get them to have thickness for some measure of renderability.)

Try [F7 3 Edge Polygonal] on Inclines (Slabs or Polylines), and you will be better to do.
