is there a way to not display hatch boundaries all at once? or do I need to select them one by one in the case of many hatches?

If all are the same pattern, you can turn off the border option in the hatch menu, then select all of the hatches by area.

If you have a variety of hatches, you would have to turn off the border option, and then pick each one again as an entity to rehatch it with the border off.

Thanks Roger, this is what I'm doing, because I have a varity of hatches. I was wondering if there was a command that would allow to do it all at once.
It might be a thing to wishlist!
