Arched Entries

I am working on a home with an arched entry on the roof. I hope I can explain this as I can't attach an image for some reason. I have a half round arch and when you get down to the overhangs, it sort of reverses the curve to create a "swoop" for lack of a better explanation. If someone can point me in the right direction it would be great. Circles are always an issue for me.

Thank you in advance,
David

3D or 2D?
A photo would be of great help...what kind of issues are you having posting a photo and we'll guide you through it.

Robert

Exactly like that. It will be out on columns as an entry for a home, but that is exactly the type of curve I am having issues with. I can get the main body of the curve drawn but I don't know how to make the lower ends work. I must admit I am teaching myself to use datacad and things like this are challenging to say the least. I am only working in 2-d for now.

Thank you again
David
