how to make templates

can someone show me how to make symbols appear every time i open a template, some of my symbols dissapear, they are there and i can only see them after I use it

I'm using DataCad version 10.0
I'm using a stand alone pc and I have my own files

Can you tell us what version of DataCAD you are using? If it is v11, are you using the Symbol Browser (SB) or the old template menu? Are you on a network, or a stand alone machine, and if you are on a network, are the symbols on the network, or if they are on the local drive?
