Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody out there has a "simple" line type for an Egg an Dart molding in elevation?

Dave G. has made that simple.
Draw exactly what you want. Go to the LineType menu and then choose Create. If you haven't done it yet, you may have to experiment a little bit to get the spacing like you want. The main thing is that the linetype will be exactly as simple or as complex as you want it to be for your elevation.
One thing to be aware of is that if you draw a sample line and decide to modify it, you'll need to erase all instances of it in the drawing and go to Manage to Purge the unused linetypes before creating it again. That is also why keeping a pre-creation sample of the line work used is a good idea. You can then modify the sample without having to do everything again.
This is another one of those great little production tools the the folks at DataCAD give us on a regular basis.
