Dimensions with Different Rounding

Hi folks,

I am trying to remember how to have an individual dimension (or some dims) that have a different rounding setting than the rest of the dims in the drawing. I am pretty sure it is related to the scale type in the dimension properties dialog, but I am not remembering how.

In other words, in a typical drawing, we set the rounding to show the nearest 1/4", but on one particular dim we need to show it to the nearest 1/8". How can we do this?

We can't (AFAIK). It's been on my wish list for quite a while.

Being able to have small scale details with high precision dimensions in the same drawing file as our large plans would be SUPER helpful.

Yes, and it would help a lot when you are working in a badly drafted drawing you inherited, and you cannot deal with fixing all the problems.

Ouch, yeah that too. Best of luck. Those are the pits.
