Explode an Xref

I just imported an Excel File into DataCAD for the first time. I don't like the look of it and want to edit it.

Is there a way I can "explode " the xref and manipulate the text? I don't care if I lose the reference to the original file.

Don't know if you can explode it. I always paste special from excel, pasting it as text so I can edit later if needed.

ps, it keeps the formating better. Note, shaded cells come in as polygons and you might have to do a SPBFill on them, I use colors 20 for borders, and 28 for shaded titles. i.e. are the colors under Cyan and Lt Cyan. Make sure in your pen table they are set to Pen=16 to print the screen color.
