... Open a Drawing w/o XRef's

I need a reminder of how to open a drawing and suppress all XRef's? I worked on this file yesterday and had no issues, but today it won't open, and has multiple errors / notices about XRef's.

Found it: https://www.datacad.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14891

Hold down the Control key as you open the file.

Okay - here's what I need to do: after opening the problem file, I need to delete the XRef's. How can I do that?

I would suggest either using xref manager to delete, or if they are on unique layers, delete those layers.

Another option for the problem, move the file to another folder and open. The xref's should then become orphans and you could delete them with the orphan manager.

The RFM is blank, so that won't work. I will delete the layers, and try that.

This is a drawing for a client that we have worked with a lot, and there are a lot of Klingons.

Okay, I have deleted all the layers that are named so I know they have XRef's on them - and still it is not opening. I try to run Repair, and it finds 30 corrupt entities and 18 corrupt symbols - but still fails to open.

I'll email it in.
