I created a custom line type that is simply two solid lines separated by a text. The line created ok. However, the spacing is less than the objects used to create the custom line type.

Is there a way to create the custom line with the same spacing as the objects used to create the custom line type?

Just a suggestion, have you tried knockout on the text as you can adjust the x-factor to knockout the line work? The other option is to increase the gap in the source graphics to get it closer to the output line type?

Couple things to try depending on what you want exactly.
- You can try changing the spacing factor when you are creating the linetype
- reduce or enlarge your source

Looks like adjusting the scale factor after drawing with the line is the easiest way to go at present till I figure out the scaling when creating the custom line type.
