Z height for sloping lines
Posted: Fri Apr 01, 2022 12:50 pmCan I draw a line with different Z heights on each end? Like for a sloping concrete slab or a rafter.

Posted: Fri Apr 01, 2022 1:24 pmYes, 3D lines can be found in the 3D Menus. Click the Edit S8 3D Menus button to load the 3D menus, and they are found in the 3D Entity menu at F1. If you are just getting started with 3D, you may want to check out Chapters 6, 20-25 of the Reference Manual for 3D modeling info. The manual for your version can be downloaded from datacad.com if you need it. Also working thru the schoolhouse tutorial is a good primer.

Posted: Fri Apr 01, 2022 1:53 pmYou mentioned rafters in your post, so also add chapter 27 of the manual to Josh's list. This deals with the Frameit Macro that can be used to model rafters (as well as wall and floor framing)...
