While I dearly love the precision of typing in my dimensions on the numerical pad, the repetitive bearing/directions are a finger-cramp. Has any-one experience in programming the Num-keys so that they can be used for the std. 45-degree directions using the <shift>, <alt> or <ctrl>?
It would be so intuitive to be able to use the <shift> that way.
If you mean indicating the direction with the mouse, yes. But the way I layout a drawings it still means a lot of shifting my right hand between the keyboard and the mouse and back to the keyboard....and so forth.
I've also been thinking about getting a second num-pad for my left-hand, but that still means a lot of "-" "9""0", etc....
