I am in the process of doing the tutorial "PartII: Advanced Multi-Scale Plotting Concepts" in chapter 12 and have found that the plotting scale (30"x42" sheet size) is to large for my Hp430cplotter ( max sheet size 24"x36") doesn't allow me to see the boarders.

Has anyone else found this to be a problem?
This chapter is very important to understand MSP and CCs so I would like to complete it properly.

This book by Michael Smith and Richard Morse has been very helpful to me, so I recommend it or the newer ver. to everyone who wants to improve and speed up the quality of their work. Thanks Michael and Richard.

Install a plotter driver for a plotter that does 30" x 42" and then pick it from the plot setup menu in DataCAD, selecting the correct sheet size. You don't actually have to have the plotter, just the driver. Any version of Windows will include a variety of HP drivers that would do the job. Most will have a driver for the DesignJet 750.

Hope this helps.

Hi Philip:

Thanks! A piece of cake. I didn't realize you could install a printer driver without actually having the plotter.
